The dungeon overview allows you to see revealed or magic mapped levels and their contents, including biomes, stairways, locked doors, and vaults. - Added some new enemies and special levels - Screenshots can be taken by pressing 'F2'. - Fullscreen can be toggled by pressing 'F11'. - The Warden of Yendor is much more dangerous. Gameplay changes: - The otherworldly darkness now affects all previous floors (at normal rate) and all floors down to your deepest level (at halved rate). - Returning to previous floors that have been affected by the otherworldly darkness unknown to the player now displays a message. - Armor damage reduction no longer scales with upgrades. - Special armors now only increment their evasion on odd-numbered upgrades and their passive on even-numbered upgrades. - Some new keyholders and vestibules have been added. - Monster spawn rates, fire, gases, freezable terrain, and meltable terrain are now affected by the temperature and humidity of the level biome. - Experience is gained faster on deeper floors and slower on shallower floors. - When digging with a pickaxe, a progress bar will appear. Keep digging until the progress bar completes to destroy a wall. - "Aura of Light" now restores 1 HP to the player per hit. "Bursting Aura" increases this to 2 HP. - "Hyper Cutter" now deals extra damage against lowercase monsters, rather than unarmored monsters. - "Battle Armor" reduces damage by 0-8 points. - "Battle Armor" reduces damage by 0-8 points. - "Cast Lightning" replaces the old "Cast Spark". - "Battle Magic" (new affinity) replaces the old "Cast Lightning" and increases the homunculi's spell damage. - Homunculi take a little longer to spawn. - Killstreaks are now only incremented from direct kills and don't last as long. - Adjusted how fire spreads to nearby tiles. - Decreased item spawn rates. - The crafting menu shows how many materials will be required to craft an item. - Charm now works properly. - Allies only move towards enemies in the player's direct LOS. - Allies now have a blue label when displayed on the left sidebar - Phantom blades and other one-HP enemies no longer display on the left sidebar. - Herbalism effects scale more strongly. Interface changes: - Hovering over the player now displays information regarding health, experience, stealth, etc. - Pickaxes now display information about their digging ability. Iron pickaxes dig faster than wood pickaxes, and silver and gold pickaxes dig faster than iron pickaxes. - The messages for reaching depths 13 and 26 now require an acknowledgement. - Added a message for being petrified which requires an acknowledgement. - Hovering over any interesting object on the map now displays it in the left sidebar. - Linux versions save game data in "user.home". - Monsters and items standing in confusion gas are darkened to make them more visible. - Adjusted some message colors. Bugfixes: - Killstreaks now properly only have benefits when killing two or more enemies. - "Arcane Battery" now properly only affects wands (and no longer charms). - Charms no longer cost 2 turns to use. - Standardized the consequences of many direct attacks or kills, such as removing paralysis or other effects. - Keys now display their depth properly. - Fixed some bugs related to item identification. - Fixed some bugs related to monsters levitating and items floating in the water not responding to terrain.
